Participation in the CRTC Report regarding the retail sales practices of Canada’s large telecommunication carriers

Mary Cavanagh, Kristianne Anor, Sean Grassie, and Tara Hristov participated in the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) Report regarding the retail sales practices of Canada’s large telecommunications carriers. The submission was based on the preliminary findings from phase one of the research program.

 

Consumers150: Consumer Engagement and Outreach Workshop

In September 2017, we held Consumers150: Consumer Engagement and Outreach workshop, as a satellite event in conjunction with the Consumers150 conference.

The workshop was designed as a catalyst for engaging consumer groups with our Law Foundation of Ontario-funded research project, with the practical goal of producing suggestions and information tools and resources for all relevant community agencies currently working directly in the areas of for consumer advocacy, education, and engagement. 

 

Participation in the CRTC Review of the Wireless Code

Mary Cavanagh, Marina Pavlović, Sean Grassie, and Lora Hamilton participated in the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) Review of the Wireless Code. The submission was based on the preliminary findings from phase one of the research program.

On February 6, the team appeared before the Commission. The team’s submissions in the proceeding are also available on the CRTC website.
